Professor Khachigian is the Director at the Centre for Vascular Research and the Head of the Transcription and Gene Targeting Laboratory of the University of New South Wales in Australia.
A molecular and vascular biologist, Professor Levon Khachigian has discovered key networks of transcriptional control and inducible gene-regulatory circuits. He has also developed a new class of drugs with the potential to treat a diverse range of health problems, from cancer and inflammation through to eye and heart disease.
